Spanish Rice

1 clove garlic
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 cup rice
2 cups broth
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin
2 teaspoon chili powder
Saute garlic, onion, and rice until transparent; add broth, tomato sauce, and spices. Cover tightly and simmer for 20 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
