Soft Sugar Cookies

1 cup butter-flavored Crisco
1 cup regular Crisco
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4 cups flour

Mix first 8 ingredients real well. Beat till light and fluffy. Don't be afraid to beat it good. Add flour; mix with a spoon. Dough will be soft. Put a lot of powdered sugar on a board or cupboard. Put dough on top of powdered sugar. Roll out; sprinkle more powdered sugar on top. cut in rounds. Bake at 350 10 minutes or less, till slightly brown. Do not use flour to roll this dough on - just powdered sugar.
