Ranger Cookies

1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup quick oats
1 cup whole-wheat flakes cereal
1/2 cup shredded coconut

Heat oven to 375.
Combine shortening, sugars, egg, and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.
