Peanut Butter Double Deckers

1 egg
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
2/3 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Dash salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350.
Beat together egg and sugar. Add sour cream and beat again. Set aside.
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir into sour cream mixture. Add vanilla and nuts, mixing well.
Spread batter into a greased 9-inch square pan and then set aside.

Peanut Butter Layer

1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
6 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup (3 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips.

Cream together peanut butter, butter, and sugar. Beat in eggs. Thoroughly mix in flour. Add chocolate chips.
Spoon carefully over Chocolate Sour Cream Layer in pan, spreading evenly.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Cut into 2-inch squares.
