Herbed Vegetable Medley

2 tablespoons butter or vegetable oil
3 garlic cloves, pressed
2 medium carrots, cut into thin strips
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
3 small zucchini, cut into thin strips
3 small yellow squash, cut into thin strips
1 medium-size bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1/3 cup chopped green onions
2 tablespoons chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried basil
Heat butter or oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add garlic and saute 1 to 2 minutes. Add carrot, salt, and lemon-pepper, and saute 2 to 3 minutes. Add zucchini and remaining ingredients; saute 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender.
