Granola Bars

4 cups regular oats, uncooked
2/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup raisins

Place oats in ungreased 15- x 10- x 1-inch jellyroll pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes, stirring at 5-minute intervals; set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients; add oats, and mix well. Spread mixture evenly into lightly greased jellyroll pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Cool completely, and cut into bars. Yield: about 5 dozen bars.
