1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 1/4 cups sugar
Butter, softened
1 3/4 cups flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
2 squares semisweet chocolate
1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Grease and flour 9" by 5" loaf pan. Preheat oven to 325. In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat cream cheese, sugar, and 3/4 cup butter until light and fluffy.
Add flour and next 4 ingredients; at low speed, beat until well mixed, scraping bowl.
In small saucepan over low heat, stir chocolate and 1 tablespoon butter until melted; remove from heat; stir in nuts and cinnamon.
Spoon half of batter into pan; spread with chocolate mixture; top with remaining batter. Bake 70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool on rack 10 minutes; remove pan; cool.
